Ministry Update March 23, 2020

Hi Parents!

We know that there are so many changes taking places in these last few weeks and for little ones sometimes change is hard. We just want to assure you that we are praying for you and your little ones in this time.

We miss being able to minister to our kids in person but are doing our best in trying new things to “stay connected” because we know its important.

Here’s a couple things we are doing during this time. First, please follow our Facebook page, Camano Chapel Kids Cove (Click Here). Tristan and I are working on having helpful articles, blog post, craft ideas and bible videos for you and your children to do or watch together. I encourage you to participate in the craft and even post your kids artwork. We would love to see what they are working on!

Also, please reach out to us via our Facebook page or email or give the church office a call. We want to know how you are doing and how we can pray for you.

Second, even though we won’t be meeting together for Sunday mornings, we still want to have a Sunday lesson for your children to continue learning about the Word of God. Lifeway has produced a weekly video series which includes a video, downloadable worksheet, parent discussion guide and even a Missions theme video to correspond with the lesson. Each Sunday, we will post a link to the video on our Facebook page along with a few thoughts or discussion starters for you to have with your children. You are able to create a free profile with Lifeway in order to have full access to the videos, downloads, etc. Please follow this link for step by step instructions put together by Lifeway.

We are looking forward to being together again and having fun with your children while learning the Word of God! We are hopeful that all our summer plans can take place and are excited to for Camp Camano and VBS!

check ins square

Camano Chapel utilizes Check-Ins, an online service that allows us to keep your children safe and secure while they are in our children's program. The system uses unique security codes that ensure only a parent or pre-approved trusted adult, are able to pick up a child from our classrooms and nurseries.

Our Mission

Children's Ministries seeks to build up children towards deeper faith in God, model Christ's love to families and children, teach the Word of God at a developmentally appropriate age level, and equip the children, volunteers and families for ministry. We strive to provide a fun, safe, and lovin g environment where we can help the children grow up to be men and women who abide in Christ.

SUNDAY MORNING PROGRAMS:

• Kids church is available at the 9 and 11:15 am services for children ages 5-3rd Grade. Children are dismissed during Wroship.
