Our Vision

At Camano Chapel, we desire to be a friend to our community by being ...

Our vision for the individual believer is to:
• Abide in Christ (John 15:5)
• Allow God's Word to abide in them (John 15:7-8)
• Have a Biblical worldview (Romans 12:1-2)

Our vision for the "corporate" body of believers is to be a fellowship of people who abide in Christ, allow God’s Word to abide in them, and view the world by the absolute truth of Scripture. The result would be that Camano Chapel openly teaches faith amongst believers, and intentionally seeks to reach out to our members, our community, and our world with a HOPE only found in Jesus Christ.

H - Honoring and Glorifying God

P - Proclaiming God's Word to All

At Camano Chapel we seek to Glorify God in who we are and by what we do.
In God's strength, Camano Chapel desires to GLORIFY God (Matthew 22:37, Psalms 34:27) by...
REACHING out to lost and hurting people, (Matthew 28:19a, and Acts 20:24)
BUILDING one another up in the faith, (Matthew 28:19b, and Ephesians 2:19)
TRAINING believers for ministry (Matthew 28:20, Ephesians 4:12b-13), and
SENDING out disciples to reach others (Matthew 22:39, Ephesians 4:12a),
while, CARING for each other (Philippians 2:4; Romans 12:10).

The supernatural and complete inspiration of the scriptures - that they are without error and that their teaching and authority are absolute, supreme, and final,
The Trinity of the Godhead - God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit,
The personality of God - the personality and deity of Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man; the personality of the Holy Spirit,
The sinfulness of man - that all human beings are born separated from God because of sin, are totally depraved and need a Savior from sin,
The Atonement - that God accepted Jesus Christ's death on the cross as once-and-for-all the punishment for the sins of the world,
The resurrection of Jesus Christ - that His body was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that He ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God as the believer's Advocate,
The necessity of the new birth - salvation from sin is a gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ and not of works; good works are evidence of faith in the life of the believer,
The literal resurrection of the body - both of the saved and of the unsaved,
The eternal life of the saved - and the eternal punishment of the lost,
The evangelization of the world - the supreme mission of the church in this age is to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to every creature,
The return of Christ to earth - according to Scripture.
