Todd and Debbie Kramlich

Year Verse:
The verse from the German Jahreslosung for 2024  is "Do all things in love", I Cor. 16:14. In 2024, we will begin with love as we engage with others and choose gratefulness for all that is coming including the unexpected.
2024 Word:
This year's word came to me as we released our lanterns during the Loy Krathong Festival in Chiang Mai. In 2024--RELEASE. As we begin a new year, we release past expectations, pain, and disappointments and we will choose love and kindness to guide our engagement with those who cross our path.
Outreach:
I thoroughly enjoyed taking an 8th-grade class to a local nursing home shortly before the break. Although there were only around 12 residents that came, there was someone that could speak each one of their languages--Thai, German, English, Swedish, and Japanese. It was a fun time of singing and speaking together. We will be going back again every month or so.
Grateful from 2023:

As we look back on 2023 we are thankful for many things:

  • Todd's safe travels and time of reconnecting with supporters.
  • Debbie's successful surgery
  • Mercy started uni in Sweden and Joya graduated from uni and started work.
  • Seth and Olivia got engaged. 🙂
  • Todd saw all the kids in the US/Europe.
  • Todd's protection in an accident in December.
  • Debbie had several papers published and presented at 5 events. She is still teaching part-time at the German school.

Looking forward to 2024:

  • Debbie will be teaching an MA course Transformative Adult Education in Multicultural Contexts at Colombo Theological Seminary in Sri Lanka and online for Columbia International University (Korntal).
  • Todd is hoping to get certified in EMDR. He has already completed his training for this. He is also doing more training in EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy).
  • Levi will be applying fall of 2024 for several universities to begin the Fall of 2025.

Your Support:
We just learned of an additional $ 1000 monthly loss of support which has cut into the small surplus that Todd raised while in the US. Pray for God's provision.
