Guest Speaker: Ed McDowell
Ed McDowell has been the Executive Director of Warm Beach Christian Camps and Conference Center since 1995. He and Bev have been married over 30 years. They are the proud parents of 9 children and 15 grandchildren and are very passionate about adoption, with five adopted children and six adopted grandchildren. Family time ranks high on Ed’s list of favorite activities. Ed is an ordained elder in the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church. He has served as a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Dean of Students, and board consultant for organizations across the country. Ed currently serves as Board Chair for the Christian Camp and Conference Association and serves on the teaching faculty of the Murdock Charitable Trust Board Leadership Initiative. Ed believes that Christian Camping is an ideal way to bless people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Directions to Camano Chapel - from I-5:
867 S. West Camano Drive, Camano Island,
Take exit 212 (Stanwood/Camano Island). Go west on Highway 532 through Stanwood and onto Camano Island. Continue on 532 about 3 miles (from bridge) to the fork in the road where you will stay left.
This road becomes East Camano Drive. Follow it about 3 more miles (past the Camano Plaza Grocery Store on the left) to the next stoplight. Turn right at the light (Camano Hill Road) and follow it up and over the hill to the stop sign. Turn left onto West Camano Drive and we are located about one block down on the left. We are approximately 12 miles from Stanwood.
