His Veterans

His Veteran's Ministry's mission is to glorify God by empowering, enriching, and embracing veterans and their families with timely information, fellowship, and prayer that embraces the whole person.

Please join us with a spirit of mutual support and and a desire to build relationships with others with similar experiences (and language). Our vision is to enable each other to grow in faith and our relationship with Christ, while seeking ways to serve each other and the community as God's warriors!

His Veterans' Ministry Bible Study and Fellowship is currently on hold. We will update you when we resume again.

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY LITTLE PATROL

Due to the COVID-19 guidance, WSDOT has directed all Adopt-a-Highway activities be suspended until further notice.  Once the restriction is lifted we will schedule dates for our next Litter Patrol.

HVM has adopted Hwy 532 from Terry’s Corner to Good Rd.  On scheduled days, meet in the parking lot outside the Coastal bank at Terry’s Corner at 0900.  We will do one side of the road each day.  Your help both days would be great, but if you can only make one day, you are more than welcome.  We usually finish each day around 1100, but how long it takes is dependent on how many volunteers we get.  For those new to the patrol, please watch the WADOT safety video prior to arrival:
www.wsdot.wa.gov/Operations/adoptahwy/video.htm or  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBxIh67-l74&feature=youtu.be.

Safety vests, helmets and trash bags are provided. We have a couple extra “grabbers”, but if you plan to join us routinely, we recommend you buy your own.  Both Ace and the Dollar Store carry versions of them.

VETERAN'S APPRECIATION DINNER

It is with heavy hearts that the HVM staff has to announce that we have cancelled this year’s Veteran’s Appreciation Dinner scheduled for Friday, 6 Nov 2020.  The health and safety of our community’s distinguished veterans are paramount!  We look forward to presenting the “dinner to end all dinners” to celebrate Veterans’ Day next year!
